"Bad proofing job" according to KY student of life. This textbook contains a lot of information, but was poorly edited. Several typos, and a couple of graphs were repeated, with the correct graph for the reference in text omitted.. kristen said Kindle Version was Disappointing. I bought the kindle version for one of my classes on aging. I had to return it because the book wasn't functional for what I wanted to do. My professor would ask us to read certain pages but there was no table to contents or page numbers to correlate to. Out of frustration, I returned the kindle book and just bought the hard. A good teaching tool, but too many Exhibit errors A Pawtuxet Reader I assign this book for my undergrad class on Aging because it covers a lot of the basic territory and does it well, and is written at an appropriate level for undergrads. I would have liked more focus on physical and psychological aging, but it is a sociology text so the light treatment of those topics is understandable.My m
