I like all of that, but mostly, I read to find validation and support of my deepest beliefs about life. Or find good reason to change my perspective. This book appealed to me at all of those levels. First thing that made me smile was what an adept writer Mr. Quinn is. I kne. The perfect "feel good" book! As a former middle school teacher and adult literacy/GED teacher, this is an awesome read on several levels. The fact that it's about female athletes fills a niche that has long been overlooked. My adults learners would love this book because the characters are believable and the plot moves at an exciting pace, a must to keep them wanting to read. Any female, athlete or not, would find RELEASE POINT intertaining and relevant . KU Pitcher said Release Point. Release Point was a GREAT read!!!! Being a former KU pitcher who also pitched in the barn, it brought back lots of memories. I especially liked how determined and competitive the characters were and how their teams and town rallied behind them.
