She loves it.This book tells the tale of a Jake the snake, a four-foot pine snake who raids a farmer's chicken coop and makes a near fatal mistake. The farmer was using light bulbs in the nesting boxes to fool the hens into increasing their egg production, and the sna. A Snake Mistake Charming true tale to show children how snakes can mistake things they should not be exposed to and how they can hurt them. Children in a kindergarten class I subbed in loved the tale and were very concerned for the snake. They were glad to know the snake was ok after the incident..
