Good book from an original master. Catherine Fassett was one of the original big forces in the quilting world ,having previously blazed trails in knitting,painting and interior design. I bought this book only for one pattern, the cover picture. His colours are very very bright, some might say garish. The patterns are ,not surprisngly ,very dated.. A Customer said Great for fabric-o-holics!. I think this is an absolutely excellent quilting book for anyone who needs a reminder of what one can do with color--I highly recommend it to anyone who is tired of the same old traditional color schemes and the not-so-inventive, often washed-out contemporary ones.
