The book cover shown in the amazon presentation had the wonderful imaginative color illustration that a friend had shown me. My friend's copy of the book also had, inside, a colorful map of Sweden to illustrate in detail Nils' travels. The book I received had this bland green cover, and no map of Sweden.. Amazon Customer said Amazon doesn't tell you it's an abridged edition - buyers beware.
