It was so intense and made you want to turn the page to see what was going to happen to both Gideon and Eva next. At times my heart ached for both of them. I love how the author brought everything together in the end. And yes we get more of a glimpse into Gideon's problems. But more important we get a good feeling of the intensity of their relationship. I am very happy that the aut. "Toxic Secrets" according to M. In many ways, Gideon and Eva are unlikable characters. Gideon's issues with the need to control are creepy. Eva's desperation to hold onto Gideon takes away her respectablility. This erotic romance somehow turns into a bit of a mystery with Gideon's bizarre actions, mixed signals & toxic secrets.Day does a fine job of wrapping up the events of this novel while leaving the readers wanting more of Gideon & Eva's rollercoaster relationship. In my opinion, this saves the book from a two star rating.
