Covers most material required, but the practice test isn't like the test Lizzi I completely read through this book before taking the Texes Science 4-8 and I think it was helpful, but I would say it is indicative of what is on the test.Pros: Covers all areas and gives a good general overview of everything (including far more depth than required for the test). It is especially good for som. "Large quantity, low quality" according to Maria Ahmad. It has a pretty comprehensive review of science concepts and information, but it didn't really deal with the type of questions that were actually on the test: how to best address the teaching of science. There are lots of spacing errors (tabs don't line up, paragraps are split up for no reason, etc.) and there. Scott Laing said Time Saver!!!
