Another era Bookbug I like the content of this little book. It was recommended on some other website, I think. Tim Keller recommends it in his book Gospel For Life, but the English is surely different than books written today. Chalmers seems to write almost like a doctoral-level psychologist with rather academic language, and I'm finding it hard to wade through.In terms of content and it's beautiful stuff and the conc. It's all about Jesus Love this book! A theology not emphasized enough. Christianity is an offer to discover the truth: Jesus is so much more satisfying than anything you could possibly imagine. And what ever it is you are currently finding satisfaction in outside of Him.. "Not a quick skim" according to Erik P. Lessmann. Older sentence structure makes it more challenging to read and understand completely with a single read.
