Now, that's a good read! I've seen the shows, watched the movies, then finally started reading the books. They are very enjoyable to read; love the character development and the intricate plots! Not too wordy -- just really good, wholesome, entertaining stories.. Doyle at his best. Truly to my liking. Amazon Customer I find his style and the stilted language of the time very interesting and entertaining. I recommend Doyle to fans of this genre.. 4 stars p2002 4 stars; this is Doyle's throw away character, not Dostoevsky's 'Brothers.'
